Baked Mustard Turkey Breast
One of our favorite recipes. Easy to make and delicious, this dish is a definite crowd pleaser. The aroma it gives off when cooking is amazing as well!

- 10 g Garlic Finely Diced
- 30 g Dijon Mustard (2 Tablespoons). Use a 0 carb Dijon mustard
- 30 g Yellow Mustard (2 Tablespoons). We use French's yellow mustard
- 185 g White Onion (1 Medium Sized Onion) Diced
- 53 g Olive Oil (1/4 Cup)
- 1 Trader Joe's Half Turkey Breast (Bone In)
- 4 g Black Pepper
- 4 g Garlic Salt
Preheat Oven to 350°F (176°C)
Coat turkey breast with black pepper and garlic salt
Combine marinade ingredients in an 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm) glass/ceramic baking dish. Mix well.
Roll turkey breast repeatedly in marinade to coat thoroughly. Spoon some of the marinade ingredients onto the turkey just prior to putting it in the oven
Place in oven.
Rotate turkey every 15 minutes thereafter. Be sure to spoon some of the marinade onto the turkey each time before placing it back in the oven.
Cooking will take approximately 2 hours, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (73°C)
Onions (CAUTION): While onions enhance the flavor of this dish, please remember that they are also relatively high in carbohydrates. When serving this dish, minimize or eliminate onions from the portions that you serve to individuals with diabetes.
